Community Section Terms and Conditions – Glancers

Welcome to the Community section of Glancers, a space for users to blog, socialise, and share opinions. By accessing or using this section, you agree to comply with these specific terms and conditions in addition to the general terms and conditions of Glancers.

You also agree to use the Community section only for its intended purpose as defined by Glancers, which is to facilitate user interaction, content sharing, and community engagement within the specified guidelines.

Please note that usage of the Community section may be subject to certain limitations, such as data caps or bandwidth restrictions, as determined by Glancers and communicated to users.

"Community Section" refers to the blog and social interaction area of the Glancers Platform.

"User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Community Section.

"Content" refers to any information, text, graphics, photos, videos, or other materials uploaded, downloaded, or appearing in the Community Section.

3.1. Prohibited Content: Users are strictly prohibited from posting content that promotes, endorses, or involves political campaigning, lobbying, or donations, including but not limited to discussions, opinions, propaganda, or campaigns.

3.2. Respectful Interaction: Users must treat others with respect and courtesy. Harassment, bullying, and abusive behavior are strictly prohibited.

3.3. Prohibited Activities: Users must not engage in any illegal activities, including but not limited to fraud, hacking, or distributing illegal substances. Additionally, users are strictly prohibited from reselling the Glancers service or any part of it, including access to the Community Section, without explicit written permission from Glancers. Violation of this clause may result in immediate termination of the user's account and legal action.

3.4. Inappropriate Content: Users must not post content that is offensive, harmful, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harassing, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate.

3.5. Intellectual Property: Users must not post content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, trademarks, or patents.

3.6. Spam and Misleading Content: Users must not post spam, false, misleading, or deceptive content, including false advertising or phishing schemes.

3.7. Privacy Violations: Users must not post content that violates the privacy rights of others, including personal information without consent.

3.8. Additional Guidelines: Users must adhere to the Glancers Community Guidelines, which supplement these behavior and conduct policies. These guidelines can be found on the Glancers website and are incorporated by reference into these terms.

4.1. User Content: Users retain ownership of the content they post. By posting content in the Community Section, you grant Glancers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content. This license continues even after you stop using our service, but we will make reasonable efforts to remove your content upon your request after account termination. Glancers may only use this content for purposes related to operating and improving the Community Section and other Glancers services. Glancers will not sell or transfer ownership of user-provided content to third parties without explicit consent from the user.

4.2. Service Content: All content provided by Glancers, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Glancers or its licensors. Users may not use, reproduce, modify, or distribute this content without explicit permission from Glancers.

4.3. Third-Party Content and Intellectual Property: Users are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights and permissions to post any third-party content. By posting such content, users represent and warrant that they have obtained all required licenses and permissions. Users are strictly prohibited from infringing on the intellectual property rights of Glancers or any third parties. Glancers reserves the right to remove any content that violates intellectual property rights or these terms of service.

4.4. Trademarks and Service Marks: Glancers' trademarks, service marks, logos, and brand features are the exclusive property of Glancers. Users may not use, reproduce, or display these marks without prior written permission from Glancers. Unauthorized use of Glancers' trademarks or service marks is strictly prohibited.

4.5. Copyright Notices: All content provided by Glancers is protected by copyright © 2025 Glancers, Inc. All rights reserved. Any third-party content used under license is protected by the respective copyright owners. Users must respect all copyright notices and adhere to any associated terms of use.

5.1. Accuracy of Information: Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the content they post.

5.2. Compliance with Laws: Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Community Section.

5.3. Reporting Violations: Users are encouraged to report any violations of these terms or other inappropriate behaviour to Glancers.

5.4. Cooperation with Investigations: Users are required to cooperate fully with any investigations conducted by Glancers into reported misconduct or abuse. This cooperation may include providing additional information, evidence, or clarifications as requested by Glancers. Failure to cooperate with such investigations may result in account suspension or termination.

5.5. Acknowledgment of Policies: By using the Community Section, users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these behaviour policies and the Glancers Community Guidelines.

The Community Section is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Glancers disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glancers is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use or inability to use the Community Section; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (iii) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Community Section; (iv) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the Community Section by any third party; (v) any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the Community Section; and/or (vi) the defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Glancers, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Community Section, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another. Glancers reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate with Glancers' defense of these claims.

9.1. User Termination: Users may terminate their participation in the Community Section at any time by contacting Glancers Inc. via the designated email provided on the platform.

9.2. Platform Termination: Glancers reserves the right to terminate or suspend user access to the Community Section for violations of these terms or other policies at its discretion, without prior notice or reason.

9.3. Effect of Termination: Upon termination, all licenses granted by these terms will terminate, and you must cease all use of the Community Section.

9.4. Surviving Provisions: All provisions of these terms which by their nature should survive termination will survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

Glancers reserves the right to modify these terms, which shall take effect after a notice period of thirty (30) days. Users will be notified of significant changes, defined as changes that materially affect rights or obligations, through the Platform or via email. Continued use of the Community Section after the notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for changes.

These terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal actions or proceedings related to these terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Cairo, Egypt, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Glancers regarding your use of the Community Section and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral, related to the subject matter hereof.

By using the Community Section of Glancers, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Community Section.
