Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Glancers. Please read this User Agreement and all other agreements and policies referenced herein (collectively, the "Terms of Service") carefully, as they contain important information regarding your legal rights, remedies, and obligations, including how disputes with Glancers and with other Users are handled.

This User Agreement (this "Agreement") is a contract between you ("you" or "User") and Glancers ("Glancers," "we," or "us"). You must read, agree to, and accept this Agreement to use our website located at glancers.co or our mobile application (the "Site") or the Site Services (defined below).

This Agreement incorporates by reference the other policies published on the Site as they may be in effect and modified from time to time, including the Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, Fees & Commission Policy, Payment & Billing Policy, Payment Methods Annex, Freelancer Payout Policy, Refund & Chargeback Policy, Intellectual Property Ownership Policy, License & Usage Rights Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and the other policies referenced throughout this Agreement (collectively, the "Terms of Service"). Section 16 (Policy Hierarchy) explains how these documents relate to one another.

Glancers may share user data with trusted third parties, including payment service providers and service providers, for the purposes of providing and improving the Platform, processing payments, and complying with legal requirements, in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing & Protection Policy.

2. Nature of the Platform Relationship

2.1 Overview

Glancers operates a marketplace platform through which a Client may purchase a service, project, or deliverable ("Service") and Glancers engages a Freelancer as an independent subcontractor or service provider to perform that Service. This Section 2 describes the roles of each party. It is the anchor description of the platform relationship for purposes of this Agreement, and no other policy referenced in the Terms of Service should be read to describe a different commercial structure.

2.2 Client Relationship with Glancers

A Client who purchases a Service through the Platform (whether structured as a Project, a milestone-based engagement, a Gig order, or another supported format) contracts with Glancers for that Service. Glancers is the Client's commercial counterparty for the purchase: the Client's payment obligation runs to Glancers, and Glancers is responsible to the Client, under the applicable order, Project, or Gig terms and this Agreement, for the delivery of the Service through the Freelancer(s) Glancers engages.

2.3 Freelancer Relationship with Glancers

Glancers engages a Freelancer as an independent contractor, independent subcontractor, or independent service provider to perform a Service that a Client has purchased through the Platform. The Freelancer is not an employee, partner, joint venturer, agent, or representative of Glancers, and this Agreement does not create an employment, partnership, joint-venture, or fiduciary relationship between Glancers and a Freelancer, except where this Agreement expressly and specifically states otherwise (for example, the limited payment-related authorizations in Section 6). Glancers' compensation obligation to a Freelancer, described in Section 5, is separate and distinct from a Client's payment obligation to Glancers described in Section 4.

2.4 No Direct Employment or Agency Relationship

Nothing in this Agreement makes a Freelancer an employee, agent, or legal representative of Glancers or of a Client, and nothing in this Agreement makes a Client the employer of a Freelancer. A Freelancer determines the manner in which they perform a Service, subject to the specifications of the relevant order, Project, or Gig, and is not subject to the day-to-day supervision, direction, or control that would characterize an employment relationship. Section 2.6 describes this further.

2.5 Payment Processors Are Infrastructure, Not a Party to the Service

A payment service provider that processes a transaction on the Platform is a third-party infrastructure provider. A payment service provider is not a party to the Service purchased by a Client, is not the Client's or the Freelancer's contractual counterparty for that Service, and does not itself engage or employ a Freelancer.

2.6 Independent Contractor Terms Applicable to Freelancers

By accepting an assignment through the Platform, a Freelancer acknowledges and agrees that: (i) the Freelancer is not an employee of Glancers and is not eligible for employment-related benefits through Glancers; (ii) the Freelancer determines the time, place, manner, and means of performing the Service, subject to the specifications of the relevant order, Project, or Gig and any deadlines agreed as part of it; (iii) Glancers does not provide the Freelancer with training, equipment, tools, materials, or premises for performing the Service, except where a specific order, Project, or Gig states otherwise; (iv) the Freelancer is free to provide services to others, including through channels outside the Platform, subject to Section 9 (Non-Circumvention) with respect to a specific Client relationship sourced through the Platform; and (v) a Freelancer may use subcontractors or employees to perform a Service except where the applicable order, Project, or Gig terms provide otherwise, and remains solely responsible for those subcontractors or employees.

3. Glancers Accounts

3.1 Registration and Acceptance

By registering for an account ("Account") or by clicking to accept the Terms of Service when prompted, you agree to abide by this Agreement, in accordance with the Electronic Agreement & Consent Policy. Your personal data, including your name, email address, and contact information, is collected, used, and processed for the purpose of creating and managing your Account, providing the Site Services, and communicating with you, as described in the Privacy Policy. That processing is not, in every case, based on your consent: some of it is necessary to perform this Agreement and provide the Site Services you are requesting, some is required to comply with a legal obligation applicable to Glancers, and some is based on your specific consent only where the Privacy Policy identifies consent as the applicable basis for that particular processing activity. The Privacy Policy states the specific legal basis that applies to each category of processing. If you do not wish for your personal data to be processed on the applicable basis described in the Privacy Policy for providing the Site Services, you should not use the Site or Site Services.

To access certain portions of the Site and Site Services, you must register for an Account. Glancers may offer the option to register using third-party authentication services, but this is not required. Glancers reserves the right to decline a registration for any lawful reason.

You may cancel your Account through your Account settings, where that option is available, or by contacting Glancers through the Platform's official support channels. Upon cancellation, your Account is deactivated. An ongoing order, Project, or Gig is handled according to its own terms and the applicable policies referenced in this Agreement. Glancers may retain certain information as required by applicable law or for legitimate business purposes described in the Privacy Policy and Data Processing & Protection Policy.

If you create an Account as an employee or agent on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to bind that company to this Agreement.

3.2 Account Eligibility

To register for an Account, you must, and hereby represent that you: (a) are an individual who is 18 years or older (or have otherwise reached the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which you conduct business) and can form legally binding contracts; (b) are an employee or agent of, and authorized to act for and bind, an independent business, where applicable; (c) will comply with any licensing, registration, or other requirements applicable to your business and the provision of a Freelancer's services; and (d) are responsible for maintaining the security of your Account, including keeping your login credentials confidential.

3.3 Account Profile

You must complete a User profile ("Profile"), which you consent to be shown to other Users and, where applicable, to the public. You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information on your Profile and to keep it updated. Providing false or misleading information may result in Account restriction or termination in accordance with the Account Suspension & Termination Policy.

3.4 Account Types

You agree not to register for more than one Account without Glancers' express written permission. Glancers reserves the right to restrict access to an Account, and to linked Accounts, where false or misleading information has been provided in creating, marketing, or maintaining a Profile or Account, subject to the Account Suspension & Termination Policy and the Appeals & Reconsideration Policy.

3.5 Account Permissions

You agree not to request or allow another person to create an Account on your behalf, except that an authorized employee or agent may create an Account on behalf of your business. By granting other Users permissions under your Account (for example, as a Team Member), you represent that the User is authorized to act on your behalf and that you remain responsible for that User's acts and omissions in connection with the Account, including payment obligations.

3.6 Identity and Location Verification

Your Account may be subject to identity and location verification at registration and at other times, in accordance with the Identity Verification (KYC) Policy. Verification may involve document verification and facial matching through Glancers or its verification service providers. You authorize Glancers, directly or through its verification service providers, to make inquiries reasonably necessary to validate your identity and location, subject to applicable law. Some Account features may be temporarily limited during verification and are restored once verification is completed.

3.7 Usernames and Passwords

You are responsible for safeguarding your username and password and agree not to share them with anyone not authorized to use your Account. Glancers will treat activity conducted with your credentials as activity authorized by you. You agree to notify Glancers promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your Account.

3.8 Invitations and Proposals

A Client may browse freelancer profiles and send invitations to a Freelancer whose skills match a Project the Client wishes to purchase through the Platform. A Freelancer who receives an invitation may accept and submit a proposal or decline. Invitation statuses include Pending, Accepted, Declined, Expired, and Withdrawn. Notifications are sent to both parties when a proposal is submitted. A Freelancer may edit or withdraw a proposal before it is accepted; a proposal cannot be modified once the Freelancer is engaged for the Project.

4. Client Charges

4.1 What a Client Pays

When a Client purchases a Service through the Platform, the Client pays Glancers the applicable price for that Service, together with the Client Service Fee described in Section 5.1 and the Fees & Commission Policy. This payment obligation runs to Glancers, consistent with Section 2.2.

4.2 Milestone-Based and Order-Based Purchases

For a milestone-based Project, a Client activates a milestone by paying Glancers the milestone amount in accordance with the Payment & Billing Policy and the Payment Commitment Policy. For a Gig or other fixed-order purchase, a Client pays Glancers the order price at checkout, subject to the applicable Gig or order terms. In either case, the Client's payment is made to Glancers, and work on the corresponding milestone, order, or Gig may begin once the Payment & Billing Policy's applicable confirmation conditions are met.

4.3 Job Completion and Acceptance

The Client and the Freelancer engaged for a Project may mutually mark a job as completed, or the Client may accept a deliverable submitted for review, in accordance with the Work Delivery & Acceptance Policy. Upon completion or acceptance, feedback requests are sent to both parties, who may rate and review each other's work following completion or cancellation, including in dispute cases, in accordance with the Rating & Review Policy.

5. Freelancer Compensation

5.1 Service Fees — Authoritative Reference

Glancers charges service fees for use of the Site Services. The current authoritative fee percentages, fee calculation methodology, and any minimum or per-transaction fee amounts are set out exclusively in the Fees & Commission Policy, which controls over any percentage referenced elsewhere on the Site or in these Terms. As of the last update of this Agreement, the applicable service fees are: a Client Service Fee of 7% of the purchased Service's price, and a Freelancer Service Commission of 10% deducted from the compensation payable to the Freelancer. These figures reflect the fee model currently applied to Project and milestone-based purchases; Section 5.5 addresses Gig and other order types, where the applicable fee model may differ. If a conflict arises between this Section and the Fees & Commission Policy, the Fees & Commission Policy governs.

5.2 How Freelancer Compensation Arises

Glancers has a separate and distinct commercial obligation to compensate a Freelancer once the applicable completion or acceptance conditions in the relevant order, Project, or Gig terms are satisfied, as further described in the Payment & Billing Policy and the Payment Commitment Policy. This obligation exists independently of, and is not a re-transfer of, the Client's payment to Glancers described in Section 4; a Freelancer's compensation is owed by Glancers, not by the Client directly, consistent with Section 2.

Once a Client has paid Glancers for a milestone, order, or Gig and the corresponding completion or acceptance conditions are satisfied, the corresponding compensation becomes payable to the Freelancer. Glancers deducts the applicable Freelancer Service Commission from that payable compensation before the resulting compensation amount is processed for payout, in accordance with the Fees & Commission Policy. The Freelancer authorizes Glancers to deduct the Freelancer Service Commission from the compensation payable to the Freelancer.

5.3 Currency Conversion

Where a Freelancer requests payout in a currency other than Egyptian Pounds, a currency conversion charge determined by the relevant payment service provider may apply; this rate may differ from rates available elsewhere.

5.4 Freelancer Memberships and Payout Charges

A Freelancer may subscribe to optional membership plans to access additional platform features, as described on the Site. A Freelancer may also incur a disbursement or payout-related charge in connection with a payout method, as described in the Freelancer Payout Policy and on the Site's fee schedule. A Freelancer's own bank, card issuer, or mobile wallet provider may separately charge its own fees, which are outside Glancers' control.

5.5 Gig and Other Order Types

Where a Service is purchased as a Gig or other fixed-order product, the applicable fee split between the Client Service Fee and the Freelancer Service Commission may differ from the percentages described in Section 5.1. The Fees & Commission Policy, together with the fees displayed before a purchase is confirmed, states the fees that apply to each purchase type and controls over this Section.

5.6 VAT and Other Taxes

Where applicable law requires Glancers to collect or withhold taxes or levies (including VAT, GST, or local sales taxes, collectively "VAT") in connection with an amount paid to or through the Platform, that amount is collected or withheld in addition to the fees described in this Section 5. A Freelancer and a Client are each responsible for understanding and meeting their own tax obligations in their jurisdiction; this Agreement does not provide tax advice, and a User should consult a qualified tax professional for guidance specific to their circumstances.

5.7 No Fee for Introducing or Finding Projects

Glancers does not charge a fee for a Freelancer finding a suitable Client or Project through the Site, and does not charge a fee for posting or viewing public feedback.

6. Payment Processing

The Platform provides payment functionality that allows a Client to pay Glancers for a Service and allows a Freelancer to receive compensation from Glancers, and to pay the fees described in Section 5 (the "Payment Services"). The Payment Services are intended for business use in connection with a Service purchased on the Platform.

6.1 How Payments Are Processed

A Client's payment to Glancers, and a payout of compensation from Glancers to a Freelancer, are each processed with the assistance of third-party payment service providers. Glancers is not a bank, is not a deposit-taking institution, and does not hold a banking or payment-institution license; nothing in this Agreement should be read to claim otherwise. Glancers acts as the operator of the Platform's payment functionality and maintains internal accounting records reflecting the status of a Client's payment and a Freelancer's payable compensation (an "order status" or "compensation status," as applicable) in connection with a Service. Where this Agreement or another policy describes an amount as "paid," "activated," "pending," or "payable," that description refers to this internal accounting status, and to the mechanics of the relevant payment service provider. It does not describe Glancers as holding money that belongs to the Client or to the Freelancer, and it does not describe a deposit, wallet, or custodial arrangement. Glancers' payment functionality operates through third-party payment service providers and is subject to the laws and regulations that apply to Glancers' activity, including any applicable rules of the Central Bank of Egypt.

The specific mechanics for each purchase type (fixed-price milestones, hourly engagements, Gigs, or other arrangements), including how a Client's payment is recorded, when a Freelancer's compensation becomes payable, and how a refund or payout occurs, are described in the Payment & Billing Policy, the Payment Commitment Policy, and the Payment Methods Annex, which apply together with this Section.

6.2 Activating a Milestone or Order

When a Client pays for a milestone or accepts an order, the corresponding amount is recorded as a paid or activated milestone amount in Glancers' internal records for that Client's order. Depending on the payment method, the payment service provider may first authorize and then capture the amount in accordance with its own processes. Once a milestone or order is paid, the corresponding Freelancer compensation status is pending until the applicable completion or acceptance conditions are met, a refund to the Client is issued, or the matter is otherwise resolved in accordance with the Payment & Billing Policy, the Refund & Chargeback Policy, or the Dispute Resolution Policy. Where a milestone is not approved, and no revision request or dispute is initiated, within the review window described in Section 12 of the Project Lifecycle Policy, the milestone is automatically approved and the corresponding Freelancer compensation becomes payable as described in that Section.

6.3 Internal Records

Glancers maintains internal records reflecting a Client's payments to Glancers and amounts payable by Glancers to a Freelancer as compensation, together with amounts payable to Glancers as fees. A Client and a Freelancer may each access current status information for their own records on the Site. These are Glancers' internal accounting records of its own payment obligations to a Freelancer and its own receivables from a Client; they are not records of funds legally owned by the Client or the Freelancer and held by Glancers.

6.4 No Interest

A User will not receive interest or other earnings on an amount reflected in Glancers' internal records under this Section.

6.5 Scope of Glancers' Role in Payment Processing

Glancers performs only the payment-processing functions expressly described in this Agreement and the applicable policies referenced in this Section. Glancers does not independently verify the accuracy of an instruction submitted by a Client or Freelancer through the Platform, and may reasonably rely on an instruction that appears genuine and properly submitted by the relevant User, without undertaking an independent investigation, except where this Agreement or applicable law requires otherwise. Where Glancers is uncertain how to proceed because of conflicting instructions or claims from a Client and a Freelancer, Glancers may pause the affected action pending resolution through the Dispute Resolution Policy or a competent court.

6.6 Client Payments on Service Engagements

Hourly Engagements: A Freelancer submits hours worked through the Platform, and the Client reviews and approves the corresponding invoice in accordance with the Payment & Billing Policy.

Fixed-Price Engagements: A Client pays Glancers the relevant milestone amount upon sending an offer or activating an additional milestone, in accordance with the Payment Commitment Policy.

6.7 Payouts to Freelancers

A Freelancer may request payout of compensation that has already become payable to them, subject to the minimum payout amounts, processing, verification, review requirements, and processing timeframes described in the Freelancer Payout Policy.

7. Refunds

An approved refund to a Client is an adjustment or reversal that Glancers owes the Client under the order, Project, or Gig relationship described in Section 2.2, processed in accordance with the Refund & Chargeback Policy. Section 3 of that Policy describes how an approved refund is processed.

8. Non-Circumvention

8.1 Making Payments Through Glancers

You agree to make all payments relating to a Service purchased through the Platform through the Platform and not to take any action to circumvent the payment methods described in this Agreement or the fees associated with them. Attempting to circumvent these payment methods may result in Account restriction in accordance with the Account Suspension & Termination Policy.

8.2 Reporting Off-Platform Payment Requests

If you receive a request to make or receive payment outside of Glancers in connection with a Service sourced through the Platform, you agree to notify Glancers.

9. Non-Circumvention of the Freelancer Relationship

A Client and a Freelancer who are introduced through the Platform for a specific Service agree not to establish a direct, off-Platform contractual relationship for that same or a substantially related Service for the duration of the relevant order, Project, or Gig and for any additional period expressly stated in the applicable order, Project, or Gig terms, except with Glancers' consent. This Section does not prevent a Client and a Freelancer from working together outside the Platform on an unrelated matter.

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 Platform Dispute Review

For a dispute arising between a Client and a Freelancer in connection with a Service, the parties agree to follow the Platform Dispute Review process described in the Dispute Resolution Policy and the Platform Decision Authority Policy. Under that process, Glancers conducts an internal review of the matter and may determine platform-operational and contractual outcomes, including whether Freelancer compensation becomes payable, whether a Client refund or adjustment is due, account-level actions, and other marketplace remedies available under the applicable policies. This determination reflects Glancers' own contractual obligations to the Client and to the Freelancer described in Sections 2, 4, and 5; it does not purport to adjudicate legal ownership of funds held by a third party.

The Platform Dispute Review process is an internal mechanism operated by Glancers and is not a formal arbitration proceeding, and Glancers is not an arbitrator or judicial body. Participating in the Platform Dispute Review process does not, by itself, waive any right a party may have under applicable law to pursue a claim in a competent court or through any other lawful remedy, except to the extent a separate, freestanding arbitration or similar agreement has been validly and specifically entered into between the parties outside of this Agreement. Nothing in this Section prevents either party from pursuing any remedy available under applicable law.

10.2 Job Cancellations and Settlements

Client-Initiated Cancellations: A Client may request cancellation of a job with a proposed settlement outcome. The Freelancer may accept or dispute the proposed settlement. Upon acceptance, the job is marked cancelled or settled. Any Client refund is determined and processed by Glancers in accordance with the Refund & Chargeback Policy, and any Freelancer compensation for the accepted settlement is determined and processed by Glancers in accordance with Section 5. Any Client refund and any Freelancer compensation are separate contractual obligations of Glancers and are determined and processed separately under the applicable policies. If the Freelancer disputes the proposed settlement, the matter is handled under Section 10.1.

Freelancer-Initiated Cancellations: A Freelancer may also request cancellation. An amount attributable to work not yet approved is handled in accordance with the Project Cancellation Policy and the Refund & Chargeback Policy; compensation for approved hours or milestones becomes payable to the Freelancer in accordance with Section 5 and the Payment & Billing Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Glancers' aggregate liability to a User arising out of or related to this Agreement, the Site, or the Site Services is limited to the greater of: (a) the total fees actually paid by that User to Glancers in connection with the Service or transaction giving rise to the claim, or (b) the total fees paid by that User to Glancers during the six months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence, or other liability that is non-waivable under the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt or another applicable jurisdiction. Nothing in this Section limits a User's non-waivable statutory rights.

12. Content and Third-Party Claims

You are solely responsible for verifying information about another User before purchasing or performing a Service. Glancers does not supervise, direct, or control a Freelancer's day-to-day work product decisions beyond the specifications of the relevant order, Project, or Gig, and makes no representation regarding the quality, safety, or legality of a Freelancer's work beyond Glancers' own obligations to the Client described in Section 2.2. If you believe content on the Site infringes your rights, you may report it in accordance with the Copyright & Intellectual Property Notice-and-Takedown Policy by contacting [email protected].

13. General Business Terms

Nothing in this Agreement discourages a User from engaging in other business activities or providing services through other channels, subject to Section 9 (Non-Circumvention of the Freelancer Relationship).

14. General

14.1 Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with the other Terms of Service, sets out the entire agreement between you and Glancers relating to its subject matter and supersedes prior discussions or agreements on that subject matter.

14.2 Modifications; Waiver

No modification to this Agreement binds Glancers unless made in accordance with Section 15.1, or in a written instrument (including a qualifying electronic communication) signed or authenticated by an authorized Glancers representative.

14.3 Severability

If a provision of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect, and the parties will work to replace the invalid provision with one that achieves a similar effect to the extent permitted by law.

14.4 Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for a failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, government action, war, riots, terrorism, or labor disputes, provided the affected party gives the other party prompt notice.

15. Modification of Terms and Governing Law

15.1 Modification of Terms

Glancers may amend this Agreement and the other Terms of Service at any time by posting a revised version on the Site. Glancers will provide reasonable advance notice of any amendment that includes a material change by posting the updated Terms of Service on the Site, providing notice on the Site, and/or sending notice to the email address associated with your Account. If a material change includes an increase to the fees described in Section 5, Glancers will provide at least 15 days' advance notice, though this notice period may not apply to a reduction in fees or a temporary or promotional fee change. Revisions take effect on the stated effective date (the "Effective Date"). Material changes affecting how personal data is processed will be notified in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Where a revision includes a material change, Glancers will present the revised Terms of Service for renewed affirmative acceptance in accordance with Section 1.1 of the Electronic Agreement & Consent Policy before the material change applies to your continued use of the Site or Site Services. A non-material revision takes effect on its Effective Date after notice, and continued use of the Site or Site Services after that date constitutes acceptance of that non-material revision. If you do not accept a revision, you may stop using the Site and Site Services and cancel your Account.

Either party may terminate this Agreement upon written notice if the other party materially breaches a term of this Agreement and, where the breach is capable of being cured, fails to cure it within 15 days after receiving written notice of the breach. Material breaches include, without limitation, violations of the Terms of Service, failure to pay amounts due, or unauthorized use of the Site or Site Services. This Section does not prevent Glancers from temporarily restricting an Account while a matter is reviewed, or from terminating an Account without a prior cure period for the serious categories described in the Account Suspension & Termination Policy and the Violation & Penalty Policy; any permanent termination remains subject to the Appeals & Reconsideration Policy.

Upon termination, both parties must cease using the Site and Site Services. Certain obligations survive termination, including confidentiality obligations, intellectual property rights, and any outstanding payment obligations. A dispute arising from an event that occurred before termination remains subject to Section 10 (Dispute Resolution) of this Agreement.

15.2 Governing Law

This Agreement and any claim, cause of action, or dispute arising out of or related to this Agreement are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except to the extent mandatory consumer-protection or other non-waivable law of a User's home jurisdiction applies and cannot be displaced by contract.

16. Policy Hierarchy

Where a conflict arises between this Agreement and another policy referenced in it: (a) the specific terms of a particular order, Project, or Gig between a Client and Glancers, or between Glancers and a Freelancer, govern that order, Project, or Gig only; (b) this Agreement governs the general platform relationship, including the roles described in Section 2; (c) a specific subject-matter policy (such as the Fees & Commission Policy, Payment & Billing Policy, or Refund & Chargeback Policy) supplements this Agreement on the subject it addresses and controls over a general statement in this Agreement on that same subject, as described in Section 5.1; and (d) mandatory applicable law prevails over any conflicting contractual term. No policy referenced in this Agreement should be read to contradict this hierarchy or the relationship described in Section 2.

17. Notices

Operational and contractual notices under this Agreement may be sent to the email address associated with a User's Account, subject to applicable law. This Agreement does not determine what constitutes valid service of process for formal legal proceedings; that question is governed by applicable procedural law.

18. Annex on Payment Methods, Fees, and Freelancer Compensation

18.1 Payment Methods and Fees

Detailed information on accepted payment methods, current fee amounts, and payment-processing procedures is set out in the Payment Methods Annex and the Fees & Commission Policy, which are part of the Terms of Service.

18.2 Freelancer Payout

The Freelancer Payout Policy sets out the methods available for a payout of Freelancer compensation, applicable payout-related charges, and the processing timeframes currently applied by the Platform.

18.3 Accessing These Policies

These policies are accessible to a registered User on the Site under the "Legal" or "Help" sections. A User is encouraged to review them to understand the financial aspects of using the Site and Site Services.
